At this meeting, Mr Prem Sharma, Vice President, AFUNPI updated the group on - Pension issues, April 5 meet invite by UNPAI, visit of Maggie/Senappa, end of August to Delhi, Golden Jubilee event (50th Anniversary) and AGM of AFUNPI from 28- 29 October in Bengaluru.
After the meeting, participants including their spouses visited Rashtrapati Bhavan, A great experience to visit the grandeur Rashtrapati Bhavan for its history, architecture with visitors from India and abroad. We were fortunate to be accompanied by an excellent guide. Rashtrapati Bhavan, official residence of the President of the world's largest democracy, epitomizes India's strength, its democratic traditions and secular character.
The visit was followed by lunch at an iconic place “Bikaner House” - Delhi cultural hub, formerly a princely palace of Maharaja of Bikaner. Venue and Menu at the Italian restaurant "Diggin" at Bikaner House was awesome. We all enjoyed the wonderful social get-together at the place with great ambience.
