X-UN Group AFUNPI Meet held at Hyderabad on 21 March 2022. This first get-together was hosted by Dr Daphne de Rebello. Over a cup of tea and an assortment of yummy snacks, AFUNPI members in Hyderabad (as well as Dr M Seenappa and Ms. Maggie Chand) met and discussed the modus operandi for having regular meetings in order to keep in touch with each other. Ms Girija Devi, Executive Member, AFUNPI and Mrs Padmini Seenappa also attended the meeting. Besides discussing various matters related to pension, it was stressed that the main aim of meeting every now and then is to make members aware that they are not alone and that there is someone who cares. Examples were given of visits/phone calls made in Bengaluru to those AFUNPI members who had lost a spouse or were too ill to attend meetings. Mrs Sudha Murali volunteered to take this forward and we wish her the best of luck in organizing get-togethers for the AFUNPI members of Hyderabad/Secunderabad
